Design for poor connectivity

Basements, plant rooms and remote sites have unreliable networks. Attendance must be captured offline with its coordinates and synced later, or workers will simply stop using it.

Make the rules explicit

Grace periods, half-day thresholds, break deductions and overtime multipliers should be configured openly and applied consistently. Disputes almost always come from ambiguity, not from the technology.
